So the weekend is at an end

And I have to say it was a great one. Got some new music, like the raveonettes, ,Keane, and DJ Shadow. I must say Keane is greatness, can't wait to check them out at ACL. Did I mention I got my ticket? Hehe.

So we're in the weekend

And I just ordered my ACL tickets. Damn, its going to be a great time. Bands already on the radar include Coldplay, The Crowes, Wilco, Panic, Arcade Fire, Keane, The Walkmen, Zykos, Donna the Buffalo, Rilo Kiley, and a couple more I can't think of.

Worth the price of admission by a damn long shot.

Its a weird world

On my way to work today, a lady passed me, driving like a bat out of hell. She was smoking and she had a wild, feral look about her. In her back seat was an economy-size pack of toilet-paper rolls. Must have been an emergency somewheres.

......I'm buying". That was the first thought that popped into my head when I saw the new ad-spots for Fat Tire from New Belgium beer. "These guys get it", I thought.

Alas, I'm no big fan of Fat Tire (T-bone swears by New Belgium Loft and Blue Paddle), I'd much rather drink a Bodds.

ACL fest

So my buddy T-bone emailed me the line-up for this year. Icantbelievable. On one hand I'm really excited, but on another I'm dreading the damn crowds. As our venerated friend Jonnie told a lady who was yelling at some poor ACL attendant: "Go back to Dallas!"
